A self-printed magazine following the toilet through history, art and pop culture.

This project was inspired by MacGuffin. Our take follows the toilet through history, art and pop culture. While designing it we drew heavily on latrinalia, better known as toilet graffiti, which recurs throughout the magazine.

We printed and bound the book ourselves, enjoying every step of the process, from selecting the paper to working out how to assemble the segments and get everything ready for print. It was a hands-on project that was as much about experimentation as it was about the final object. In collaboration with Jan-Basiel Van Loon.
